(Source: Entame) Half-french-canadian, half-japanese model-celebrity Marie (マリエ) (21 years) has done it again. It has been previously reported that the "frivolous" model once brought her dog into a pet-prohibited area, ignoring sideglances from passers-by and openly flouting laws governing public spaces.
This time, Marie's bad behaviour was witnessed at the Hyogo-ken Ashiya-shi's [ASHIYA BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL 08] held on 19th July. After the main act by DJOZMA, a whole troop of models were supposed to go up on stage to dance and part around. For some inexplicable reason, Marie had an unlit cigarette in her mouth which she subsequently threw towards the audience. Entame asks, outraged, "Is that a present??"
Marie followed up soon after by coming off stage and going up to the audience, third-finger flashing and all, and said, "F*ck you!" Strange.
(As one may know) DJ OZMA's style is to perform on stage whilst letting the audience party offstage. Yet halfway between the switching of musictracks Marie went up to DJ OZMA with a bottle of Champagne and tried to make him drink it. In the spirit of the performance DJ OZMA was unable to reject her advances, so he had to acquiesce in order not to spoil the party mood. After that however, DJ OZMA remarked, " Sports drinks are good, aren't they?" which threw your Entame blogger into confusion.

It's weird how so many ViVi models are a mix of Japanese and some other caucasian ethnicity. I wonder if they actively only hire girls that look half or something? Why not just hire a caucasian or full asian?

This is unfortunate.. Marie stayed in my town when she did a study abroad in the states when she was in high school. It kind of was a shock to hear about this online. THere are worse things though. Hope nothing to extreme happens with the backlash. It is true though that at the very least she is interesting. She has always been a little out there hahaha.
ReplyDeleteAs a side note to Lux. Yes, Japanese pop culture for the most part is pretty westernized, and for that reason Japanese/caucasian models/actors/etc. are popular. IT sort of follows the same reason why you will see a lot of random english on japanese products. It might not make sense, but you'll sure see it.
