(Source: Sanspo) Singer Aoyama Thelma (20) performed at Tokyo Dome yesterday at a motivational rally for Japanese cyclists headed for the Beijing Olympics 2008. She performed her hit collaboration single with SoulJa , Soba Ni Iru Ne, which reached #1 on the Oricon charts earlier this year. Aoyama then went on to perform Nan Do Mo, a new single to be released for sale on 9th of July.
An estimate of 27,918 people were present and Sanspo reports that Aoyama dazzled her fans in her silver dress. At the end, Aoyama gave a word of encouragement to the Olympic competitors -"Cycling is really intense. Please work hard to earn a medal in the Beijing Olympics."
On another note, I went to Aoyama Thelma's blog and her recent blogpost was about the said concert. Pedant me just had to point out that she forgot to rotate her photo of fans at Tokyo Dome. Hahaha! Click here to go to her blog.
