(Source: Mainichi) The 30-year old singer filed suit against tabloid Shuukan Josei for publishing photos of her walking with her son, calling it an invasion of privacy and asking for a 22 million yen compensation in damages.
The magazine had published in its issue on 10th June a photo of her going to the combini (like your nearby 7-11) with her eldest son, 10 years old, to shop. Through her lawyer, Namie Amuro stated that she did not wish to live her private life under the eyes of others, and that she hoped that the outcome of the judgment would be such that as to ensure that such a thing would not happen a second time.
