(Source: Entame) [Sorry for earlier erroneous translation! thanks to the person who left the comment for me!!] The 4th episode of Kimura Takuya's new dorama, Mr Brain, aired on 13th June 2009. Kamenashi Kazuya was the guest star in Episode 3 and that episode was the only episode that did not break the 20% ratings ceiling.
The ratings for KimuTaku's new dorama so far is as follows:
24.8％→22.0％→16.3％→21.0％
The episode with Kamenashi was 16.3%. This is bad news for him!!
Sato Takeru and Kimura Tae were among the guests for episode 4. Not Kamenashi Kazuya (who was the guest in episode 3).

:( As much as I love Kame, he was the guest star in the episode where the rating dropped, so unfortunately this doesn't help him at all.

I think he's a great actor, yet he managed to ruin the ratings for one of the most popular dramas this season. i think someone in the ratings department has a grudge against Kame. Anyways, I hope this bad karma goes away before Gokusen!
ReplyDeleteI really don't think it was because of Kame being in the drama that ruined the ratings. They already showed how the story went in the preview on the previous episode, there really wasn't any reason to turn in.

I don't think it was his fault at all. Just heard that there's baseball match at the same time;

Anyway, if you watch Ousama no buranchi, you'll see the rating of this episode finally reached 21.7% at the end.(May be the match is end, but overall is still 16.3%)
I don't know why some people has to blame him for the decrease in rating :(
I think he's done well in this episode.
And a rumour about saving him with Kimu's drama is pointless ;p...
Why he need to be saved after all!
